Professional Development

At the Property Institute we believe strongly in continuing education, both for the ongoing professional development of our members and to ensure that professionals working in property-related fields have access to property-related training material.

An initial qualification cannot prepare the professionals of today with all the skills and knowledge they will need throughout their working lives. The pace of change in all sectors of business and industry continues to increase. Property professionals need to keep abreast of changes in many areas, including technology, legislation, methodology, business management, marketing and quality assurance.

For our members, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) provides the mechanism through which property professionals can meet the challenges of today's business environment.

The purpose of the Property Institute's CPD policy is to assist our members to remain competitive in the market place; all Property Institute members are required to undertake a minimum of twenty hours of CPD each year.

The Institute also offers training to non-members through Property Education & Training Ltd.
