Finance & Technology Committee

The purpose of the Finance & Technology Committee is to

• Discuss the direction, progress and financial performance of PINZ and NZIV from an overall business unit perspective
• Enable the Chief Executive to report on the financial performance of PINZ and NZIV with recommendations on actions required following from his monthly or year-to-date performance summary

The Committee meets on a monthly basis to discuss

• actual financial performance against budget
• forecasted financial performance against budget
• technology resources that are being utilised by the Institute
• extra-ordinary items of expenditure as provided by the Chief Executive

In addition the Committee also discusses the Annual Budget for PINZ and NZIV and makes a recommendation for approval to the PINZ Board.
