Trans-Tasman Standards
While there are no major changes there is yet another format of
the trans-Tasman standards which means a significant change for
members. The new publication was released in May 2006 as both
a loose-leaf hard copy available and a CD-ROM available
to members. The key objective is to comply with the international
accounting standards and the New Zealand accounting standards both of
which have undergone significant change (NZ is scheduled to comply with
the international standard in 2007).
International Valuation Standards
The International Valuation Standards Committee has
published the latest (2006) edition of the
standards, available to members from their web site www.ivsc.org.
